In this week’s video, I talk about why comments are so much more powerful than likes on LinkedIn. If your goal is to stay top of mind with people on LinkedIn, comments do that… likes don’t. And you can also make someone’s day with a thoughtful comment to one of the status updates that they’ve put out there. They get an email from LinkedIn telling them what you said… and hopefully that makes them smile.
When you “like” a status update on LinkedIn, your reaction gets lumped in with everyone else and is probably going to be missed by the author of the status update. This = bad.
