Chipolo will make sure you never leave your wallet or keys behind

Hello friends! This week, in my Tech Tip, I wanted to share something I found recently that you might want to know about. The company is called Chipolo and they make devices that help you find things you have misplaced, but more importantly you get notified on your phone if you leave something behind like your keys or wallet.

Wait, where is my wallet?!?

This all started with me sitting down to lunch with my parents and reaching for my wallet when we were done. No wallet. On the floor? No. In the car? Nope. Turns out that I had left my wallet on the counter in our kitchen but it had gotten covered up with some paperwork so I missed it when I left the house. (I normally check for my phone, keys and wallet, but things happen when you are in a hurry to get to the next place, right?)

Anyway, Chipolo makes a credit card sized device that fits in your wallet or purse. If you leave your house without it, the Find My app on your iPhone will notify you that you left it!!! It works great. Full disclosure… it takes a minute for it to notify you, so I have driven about half a mile, but it happens soon enough to make it easy to turn around and go back for it. Better yet, you don’t end up at a restaurant with no way to pay and wondering if you have lost your wallet!

If you sometimes leave things behind or just have trouble finding things in your home because they were “misplaced” then Chipolo might have a solution for you. It works for me!
