If your inbox is like ours, it is probably flooded with Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday wishes from your clients, vendors, friends and family. So we thought we would add one more if you are subscribed to our weekly tips and news updates by email. :) It is a fun time of year! I thought it was important to take the time to pause and look back at 2010. Thank you to every one of you that connected with us in some way this year. It has been a great ride and Mic and I are so excited about 2011. We are proud to work with so many great companies on their social media, web sites and more, learning and teaching along the way. Here are a few things that have come up over the past week that I thought worthy of mentioning:
How Social Media Has Changed Business in 2010 (a recap) : mentioned this morning from our very own Mic Johnson.
Key Ring App (free) : use your mobile phone to scan in all your “frequent flyer” cards (Hen House, KC Hopps, etc.) and lose the plastic in your wallet or on your key chain! Thanks to David Carey for telling me about this last week.
The Digital Story of the Nativity (video on YouTube) : a video that tells the Nativity story using cell phones, text messages, google maps, and more. Thanks to Bill Harris at Kenton Brothers for forwarding this yesterday.
Blue Gurus goes Caroling with Home Rental Services (video on YouTube) : I played the guitar and wore a red hat with a Santa stuck head first in it… legs kicked and everything.
We will be doing a “look ahead in social media and technology” in the next couple of weeks. Our thoughts on what 2011 will bring and things you should be considering. Enjoy some time off and we will see you, talk to you and connect with you again soon!
