I was introduced to Kevin Collison of CityScene KC by David Scott, Managing Member of Avid Communications. Kevin and David shared a vision for an online news site for all things downtown Kansas City. I loved the concept and enjoyed working on this project!
We built a WordPress website together in less than two days. We had a great head start by choosing the popular Newspaper Theme for WordPress.
Over the months after the launch of the website, we extended the reach of CityScene KC by setting up a Mailchimp “blog to email” system. That way, anyone that wanted to subscribe to weekly stories from CityScene KC could do so. They get an email each week with all the new stories Kevin has written… with great images as well.
