Hello friends! Recently, I was sitting with a friend of mine at their office. They were on a Windows PC that had two monitors connected. One of the things I noticed is that as they were moving their mouse around between monitors, it was easy to lose track of where the mouse actually was located. Why? Because the monitors had decent resolution and the mouse pointer size was about the smallest you can make it. This got me thinking… lots of people might have this issue, so why not do a PSA on how to increase the size of your mouse pointer?

To get into the Mouse Pointer Settings, click on the Windows Start icon in your taskbar and type “Mouse Pointer Size” in the Search box. Then click on the Mouse Pointer Size option that comes up under system settings. You can see exactly what that looks like in the image above.

There are quite a few settings you can change in this area to get your mouse pointer adjusted.
I have my mouse speed set pretty high, so when I move my mouse between the three monitors I have set up, I can lose track of the mouse. By increasing the mouse pointer size a bit, it is really easy to see where my mouse pointer is at all times. Give this a try and see if it helps you keep track of where your mouse is pointing across multiple screens!

Good tip! I don’t use Windows, but as I understand, you can also enable the “Find my mouse” feature. This video describes how: https://youtu.be/zoL39FmeimY?si=FterVK-jQiO3CUt1
